Your Minion Has Arrived!

We are happy to announce that our baby MMOUI Minions were born a little while ago and, although they still need a bit more training before they are fully housebroken*, are now big enough to be adopted!

MMOUI Minion: A free, eager-to-please little monster lackey of your own, with enough sense to stick to orders! Minion can handle all the 'work' assigned, letting you get back to the 'serious business' of playing your game sooner. Not only that, it's able to learn how to work with other sites that you use if they've set up Minion-training programs of their own.

From AddOns and News to Database Submissions and more, Minion is happy to serve!

Please note: Since this is a Beta release, we fully expect that there will be some bugs and you should too. This is not a finished product. Please be prepared to deal with the possibility of problems, or wait until we release the finished version. Be sure to make a backup of your AddOn and WTF folders before running Minion.

A HUGE congratulations to everyone who made this come together, especially Shirik! I just completed my first "update all" with minion and everything went perfectly. Maybe now the whole WM debacle can be laid to rest once and for all! HUZZAH!

i update my addon via minion an the update all button, i looked at my addon folder and got a few new addons, dont know why

One quick question about version checking: does it compare version from toc file
(which will avoid "upgrading" to previous version if i have newer one from other source)
or should i take a close look first at what would be updated to which version and ignore such addons?

Only one thing I noticed I use the Dev version of nUI and the Minion downloaded the lite version of it. >_<

I can't get mine working. When I try to install it I get an error message:

java.io.IOException: Cannot run program: "filepath.exe": CreateProcess error = 14001

Something about an application configuration is incorret. Suggests to reinstall the application.

I downloaded and told FF to run the java installer.

Any help would be wonderful as I have been very eager to try this out. If you need more information please let me know what to add.

So far so Excellent! Found all of my addons except one but I found that through the search and updated just fine. Much better than the Curse updater( curse only updated half of my addons where as minion updated them all). Very easy to install. I think i'm in love!
