ignore combat log

Hi, I'm fairly new to the addon scene.

Basically the addon announces when someone reaches too many stacks of a debuff. What i want it to to is, when it announces it, to stop reading the combat log to prevent spam. This way i can add a sound file to it as well without it playing over and over again. Right now it will repeat the message every time someone gets more than 6 stacks of the debuff, only need it to say it for the first person to fail.
