Blizzcon Beta truth

While browsing the WoW forums, I found a thread that was just posted that let on about the game key beta coming out! The post was short but truthful, and took a slice at Blizzard's sucerity.

The thread was taken down minutes after being up, but here some of what it said:

"I have found that the beta key is actually for the next WoW expansion! Tell your friends cause this post won't be here long!"

So this thing was up for like 5 minutes, and TONS of replies were made, shooting it up to the top of threads which made Blizzard employees look at it (obviously), and a blue post was put it that said

"This is an exploitation, and the author will be banned because of it. Please forget what was said here."

why would blizzard do a publicity stunt? they don't need one.

And the thread was there, I saw right after it was posted.

becase of the mod post. how is it an explotiaion? and how can you ban someone for posting somthing like that? it just seem fishy

whatever. there will be another expansion next year I'm sure. it makes sense due to the fact that at least 50 people have beaten the current iteration. within a year I expect that a far larger percentage of the populace will have experienced all of karazhan and at least half of the 25 man raids. we'll have completed at least another arena season beyond this one.

so blizzard will be creating a beta for the next wow expansion, big deal. move on and look for more details on SC2!! WOOHOO!!

TBH i would rather SC2 beta keys than WoW beta keys
