Addon that gives target an icon or similar

Hey

I have a little problem with color blindness (have no clue about the real name for it) well anyway it makes it hard for me in for example PvP to see who i have targeted.

Is there any addon that puts a icon over targets head. or that can change the color of the "red ring" surrounding a target?

Is this even possible?

Depends on what class you are playing, but if you are a melee player you could use nameplates.

This not might give you what you askt for but it might helps on diffrent issue you got.
I haven't read all of it,just brows it to get a hint of it, and i am not going to take responsibility
for any issue you got when you download anything of it. So do a backup on your computer.

Unfortunately addons have no access to the 3D world.

There is no way to add icons over the heads of a target nor is there a way to change the color of the target circle.

WoW did introduce options for those that are color blind in the last big patch.

Press ESC to open the options menu.
Select the Game Tab
Select Display
Check the box for Color Blind


Not to sure what it does but maybe it can help you.

Also the addon the Riddrick posted a link to (Colorblind) is what Blizzard implemented with the latest patch. So the addon was discontinued and it is no longer updated, supported or needed.
