Trying to use Carbonite

I've not played WOW in more than a year. I have anew pc so all my old files are gone. I downloaded Carbonite and When I log in it says out of date if I activate it the map options are not working at all. Seems that the only thing I see is the C icon. nothing else from what I remember.

The wow minimap is useless it's way to small on my 01920x1200 screen. Any hel or suggestion on an alternative would be appreciated.

Using win8 if that makes a difference.

I was finally able to start it up, however:

Using carbonite I have one little glitch, when I am in a dungeon the big minimap is of no use and there is a smaller map of the dungeon that is so small it's no use. I remember there use to be a way to invert the windows so the dungeon map was the bigger.

Anybody know how to do that?

Did you grab the new beta version of Carbonite? If not, you are using an old, outdated version that is not going to work. Try this.
