Question about updates

Hi, probably a question that has already been answered but I cant find its answer.

Withiout searching for the addon, will you be able to view the changelog for addons with an update? IE, see whether it is worth updating that addon right away.

If not, seaching for the addon works for now but would be a useful feature in the future.

Hi,

While that's something we want implemented, it probably won't be in before beta. While you can search for addons using the search box and pull up its change log that way, there's no way to do it from the main screen directly. You could also right click on a given addon and choose the "More Info" button.

Post-beta there will be a functionality update to support this. Most likely what will happen is when you click on the addon, the details (including changelog) will be posted in the news panel shown in the bottom left.
