Font help

Hey guys, I'd like to use a pixelated font. So I chose "visitor"
I stuck it in my fonts folder in the WoW directory, yet in any addons GUI in-game the font does not appear to be an option.

How can I fix this so that my font is usable?

You are confusing two methods of changing fonts. The Fonts folder is to manually override the game fonts. If you wish to have your font selectable in an addon's option panel, then you may need to use SharedMedia (see the file titled "INSTRUCTIONS for MyMedia.txt").

Here is a useful page for you: http://www.vranx.com/font.htm

I just posted it the other day in the UI thread here: http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/showthread.php?t=105

You can also search within that thread or view screenshots from my addon pages to see previous UIs I have created.

Also, off-topic.
In my soon-to-be produced UI... I'm having troubles finding a good unit frames.
I blow with .lua programming, so I don't know if oUF would work for me.

I could try it, but I don't know the turn out.
