4.11 is showing outdated on my wow account

any help??? i updated my interface with the 4.11 addon. however, when i log into wow it says that my addons are out of date and i get unbareable lag in instances...

You can override this by selecting "Load out of date addons" in the addon loader window before you enter the game.

i tried that and it loads but then i have terrible lag in instances.... i ran an instance with it off and game play was fine. any idea what im doin wrong
or could it be that i uploaded the addon after i recieved the new patch?

Try installing the Carbonite "fan update" from Here. It's hosted at WoWInterface. Don't forget to read the install instructions! The zip is packaged a little differently than normal.

Ok not sure what I am doign wrong but the lag is killing me and no carbonite is kiling me as well. I unzipped the 4 folders in my wow/ineterface/addon folder. Still same issues, Do i need to delete something 1st?

When you mouse over your micromenu's button for the menu and the addon usage comes up what is the highest? Also try disabling "Load Out Of Date Addons" and see if that fixes it.

thank you for your help, reading the instructions more closer helped. Copy & pasting made all the difference instead of just unzipping lol
