iv been requesting this feature on a number of addons that are assosiated with this, but thought id make a request here, might already exsist such an addon that i havnt found.

Goal, quickly compare slot items in tooltips next to eachother(or otherwize) while hovering over(with modifier) a slot item, so that all items that u own that fit that slot show up. so that u will know within seconds if u really needed that item or not, for example pug rollings can go to the rolling winner within seconds of boss downed or or otherwize, mainly for ppl with characters that have alot of equipment sets.

I use tekKompare. Give you always-on compare tooltips, Show tooltips for links in chat when hovering over them.

I'm not sure if this is exactly what your looking for but thats whats been working for me along with teksLoot for my roll frame. Nice lightweight stuff that helps me out alot.
