given, they're gone during the actual "detailed management" but at the gamelist and whatnot, they're still up and blocking half your screen

That's just the main Battle.net page where they are trying to sell you stuff. At first I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to be doing from the main page, but once I got out of there everything was fine. The actual account management pages seem much nicer and more streamlined than the old ones imo.

However, the new Battle.net is dead to me until it will accept my beta key :-P

its too hot to sleep, sims 3 won't run for more than 20 minutes without crashing and there is nothing on TV..... and its all blizz's fault!

seriously i have to dual boot with xp (main system is vista64), remove half my ram and not patch sims 3 to get it to run properly.... its rediculous.

That's weird, maybe you should call EA technical support and wait on hold for the next 20 hours, that would be something fun to do while waiting for blizz to fix our keys.

And I love how much trouble you're going through just to play the Sims 3. hahaha

Don't limit the number of new keys. They need another 71 before I get one!

They need to get the existing ones going and we'll probably see some keys next week.

lol. its mainly for my gf, i'm seriously considering goin back to sims 2.

Im actually pulling my hair out atm trying to get the slash command working in my add-on. For some reason when I add the code to implement it, the addon just breaks!!!!!

im trying to work it out myself first. I can code in php/asp/xml/html, LUA will not defeat me!!!! (i only started working heavily with it 3 weeks ago)

Edit.... i got it working.... I forgot to add an extra 'end' to the very bottom of the LUA.... go figure. Its always the simplest things!

What makes you say that? Blizzard often ends up working fairly late (10 PDT or later) on beta maintenance and patches.
