Minimap(?)

Not the game one, but the Carbonite one that is a minimized version of the main Carbonite map - is there a way to permanently turn it off? I've tried everything, but it always comes back at some point.

I also would love to know if there is a way to hide that mini-minimap square as to me it is a little annoying.

I use the Carbonite World Map and I still use Chinchilla as my MiniMap.

One of the things that bothered me was everytime I pressed "M" it would alternate between the Carb World Map and the Mini version.

To stop this I did this:
Goto Key bindings. Scroll towards the bottom until you find Carbonite.
Set Toggle Original Map to "ALT+M" (This will open the original Blizz world Map)
Set Toggle None or Normal to "M"

You can use any settings you like. There are also other Carb Maps you can open instead of the Normal map. With the setting I have It allows me to still open the Blizz Original map with the ALT+M. Pressing M will open the Carb Normal Map which I can resize to my liking at the time of use.

Play with the map toggle setting to get something you like.
