I've lost my clock! ... and other things

Since the patch, my clock, the "find whatever" button, and a few other buttons that were with carbonite that kinda replaced some regular interface buttons have completely disappeared from the upper right hand corner for me. I'm using 3.12 and havent had the problem until the last patch. Is there a way to turn it on, and I'm a noob, or is it actually busted?
