on one hand I can't believe people would stoop that low, yet at the same time I can't say I am surprised.

Maturity, respect, and the common decency you show to someone else in the gaming industry. Those are the only things any of us should be showing Cairenn. People take a large risk when posting images of themselves online. But moreso when you are a female working in a predominantly male industry.

Remember, regardless of the "anonymous" nature of the internet, sexual harassment is still sexual harassment. Next time you send her a message, ask yourself if you would like your mom, or your grandmother to read it. If not then perhaps you should consider revising it a little...

Having read this thread all I can say is, "There is always a few at the party who make the night just not fun any more". Those are usually the ones we leave behind in the instance to fend for themselves. Kids nowadays just have no respect. <bows> to Cairenn. much respect!

This is completely ridiculous, however It doesn't surprise me that internet kiddies up past their bedtime would do such things. I wouldn't be nearly as patient as you nor would I put this warning. I'd have banned regardless.

I do hope nobody here gets the wrong impression, I can't agree more with Cairenn about asking for people to be decent to her or any other females around - I know a lot about how average male gamers online tend to treat women, being male myself and add to it my wife whom I met playing mechwarrior 2 mercenaries back in the Kali days I have a very good idea about these jerks.

Sadly though they're not the one reading this thread, my advice to you Cairenn, just ignore them, but then again I think you're smart enough to do that already, and if it was just up to me, anyone sending disrespectul PM's to *any* member in our forums they would get the boot and be banned before you can say paranguaricutimiricuaro!!! (ok, ok that's not fair, that's a mexican tongue twister )

I do hope this thread doesn't mean that we won't get to see more photos with you on them online in the future, that would be sad but understandable
