I use this setup for pretty much every toon I have, whether it's Tank, Healing, or DPS. I find it to be a good layout, and using the same setup helps with switching roles. I still look in the same spot to see info, no matter what my role happens to be.

C&C welcome.
texts are always better than the image itself (pvp) for example.
top bar could use some opacity, looks like fubar?
take binding off icons, you should know your bindings [:
make your target and ur player frames equal.
other than that it looks good. [:

Not sure what you mean. Could you explain what text/images you're referring to? The PVP icons on my unit frames?

Top bar is actually CT_Viewport, so It can't really change color or add texture to it. I thought about using skinner, but that's all I'd really be using it for so it'd be a little overkill. I just put the viewport up on top and then put a fubar over in the top right corner.

the pvp icons in ur uf, if ur using pitbull use dogtags

i would make a switch to like litepanels and use lua addons, the icons look tacky

I've actually looked at LitePanels with some interest recently, but it would take a bit of study/practice on my part to learn and get the hang of using. I just don't have the time/inclination (I have time to either play a little, or mess with my UI, not both) to get into another customization project at the moment. My only problem with it is that you must use text in the panels, and not icons (as far as I know, so far, but am unsure due to my lack of investigation). I actually like to use icons because of the space saved, as opposed to all the space that text can take up. I do agree that text looks better, but if I can take up a fraction of the screen real estate using icons instead of text, that's another thing I can live with in the name of function/practicality.

Actually you can probablly use icons in Litepanels. Same way you would add them to anything else. They are used in LiteStats, which the author of LitePanels wrote to compliment the main addon.
All the graphics in my UI are part of LitePanels. I even built in my chat and map mods to LitePanels Layout. So it is definately doable.

This ones mine, I work on it now and then..tweaks here and there, but for the most part this is how it stays. Same UI I use for all 3 of my toons, jus happened to be on my Warrior leveling when I took this.

ncNamePlates I have to fix them though lol, I realized the HP Bar is bigger than the CasBar, and forgot to resize the Castbar :P Its the same basic idea of caelNamePlates or what have you.

I suggest making the castbar... well... a bar, because that's so much more easy to spot then some little numbers for interrupts and such.

ive tried bar's lots of them.. and i like the icon more :P it's easier too spot for me.. and having different colors etc lets me know quickly if i need too pay attention too it. numbers are just there for info and looks more or less imo. there's not a lot of fights in the game where you need too time interrupts(only i can think of is less rabi achievment).. so if there is a interrupt i can interrupt i do it as soon as i see the icon.. :>

personal preference i guess.. just havent found any bar style i like that fits the rest of my layout.

Something new I've been tinkering with.

The party frames are vertical and in between the player and target frames.

Some of the text on the frames is invisible until mouseover.

General build idea was to keep it reasonably compact but not really minimal. Vertical party frames led me to use icons to represent aggro, player is dead, player is a ghost and player is offline.

They are not pictured in this particular shot. After instances tonight ill update.

This is my setup. I've only been back in WoW for a week or so now, but I'm running dual monitor using SunnArt viewport to render on one screen and display other data on the secondary monitor. I used MoveAnything to move windows where I needed them.
