Whenever you start on a new quest, the "new" part will go away on your first kill or first item grab.

doesn't really help.. i know it goes away eventually .. its just annoying as all hell .. so im looking for the Lua line to get rid of .. so it doesn't pop up ever ... since there isn't a option to turn it off.

I mean .. the thing wouldn't be near as annoying.. or headache worthy .. if it didn't blink neon green.. and just stayed solid.. >.<

Is the "new" business part of Carbonite, or part of Blizzard's quest stuff?

The carbonite icon that pops up beside a newly obtained quest.... on the quest tracker?

Pops up blinking neon green saying "new" beside the quest on the quest tracker
