/who on minimap mouseover

Hey guys! There's CorpseInfo which, when you mouseover a corpse, does a /who and displays the result in the tooltip. Brilliant, as a priest I can see if someone needs a rez or if they've given up and gone offline.

Now, what I'm after is for a hunter friend of mine, as he's going about his bussiness in STV or wherever he has his humanoid tracking on to look for members of the opposite faction, the trouble is the tooltip on the minimap only shows the name and he has to run around checking if it's horde or alliance.

Is it possible to do the same with the minimap as is done with CorpseInfo?
ie: perform a /who on mouseover and display the result in the tooltip?

Far as I know the minimap is funky and hard to hook into, so I'm asking before I start fiddling because I'm no author!
