Just a noob needing help

I am trying to enter the Aimed shot cast bar to my UI and can't seem to get it to work.
Right now i have the macro setup to this:


/cast Aimed Shot
/script ShowCastBar(3, "Aimed Shot")

I have also loaded the Showcastbar mod from the link below:

Under the "addons" button on the character select window, showcastbar is checked. However, when I try to use the macro i get an error that "script showcast bar could not be loaded" and it gives the macro itself. Has anyone else had this same problem? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It may not account for your error but you left out some specifications to the script call.

/cast Aimed Shot
/script ShowCastBar(3, "Aimed Shot", 1, 0, 0)


See if that helps... If it does not I will have to test this mod on my own hunter and see if I can replicate your issue.

I've tried adding these numbers to the macro, but it still doesn't work. These numbers only affect the color of the cast bar and don't really change the script from what i have read. Please let me know if you have found anything else. Thank you!

Well I do not get an error message, but the bar does not say aimed shot on it nor does it disappear after it fills up. Ok the reason it was staying was because of eCasting Bar.

Got that part fixed. It says skinning instead of Aimed Shot now and even popped up Failed when the mob died do to the one shot kill. (I am not liking this mod much)

They only thing I can think of is to remove the ShowCastbar folder and attempt to reinstall.

I'll try deleting the showcastbar folder and reinstall it. At least it is something to try I'll let you know if it works or doesn't.
