Mod Not Working??

Hey guys,

I just got WoW like 2 weeks ago....and now that I am more familiar with the game I am wanting to start customizing my UI.

I D/l this mod:

I followed the install intructions you guys have posted on the website. I also tried the way that the readme file says that comes with the package. Both ways did not work. Your way said that there should be an add on button that I can select at the start screen but I saw no such thing.

This is my file path:

C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\ExtendedQuestLog

It looks like I did it right but I am also not too sure as this is the first mod that I am trying to install.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hi Carlos. Ahhhh, I see what the problem is. I just checked the readme that is included. This mod won't work any longer, unfortunately. Blizzard made it so that you can't edit files in the \Interface\FrameXML folder any more. This mod resides in that folder. Hence, no work. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

/edit I've subsequently moved this mod to the "Outdated" category for now. If the author ever comes back and updates it to work with the current requirements, I'll move it back.

Ok....I now have a problem with trying to install FuBar......in the add ons menu it says that all of my addons are missing dependencys.....but I got the Fubar Starter pack and the full fubar and neither work....any help?

nvm figured it out.

Oh if you want that Extended Quest log the New insomniax compliation has it and it works (except for sharing quests that button does not work) Just un zip the file into a folder and copy the EQL folder into your add-ons folder.
