This is something I've been working on for the past week or so. I had to cut back on addon usage as more and more my computer isn't liking me and I just haven't got around to buying a new one.

Any ideas/feedback is welcome. And yes I know the Frame with my action bars in it is not quite where I would like it, I would like the box the same distance from the bottom as the two other frames that have my chat frames in them. Between the left and middle frame is my Grid and between the middle and right is skada's frame.

Mainly carbonite if I remember correctly im not logged in right now so I cant give a list of addons im running, but some of the ones I was running when I took the screen shot I plan to remove as I find myself not using them.

My old layout that lasted me from when I came back to the game (2.4.3) to 3.0.8. I liked this layout. Too bad I couldn't see any zone objectives.

My new layout from 3.1:

Some addons are:
Pitbull3
Dominos
pMinimap
Quartz
SBF

SCT (later, MSBT)
IceHUD
Clique

Is that 28 + default UI, or including? Your 2-4 does not include default UI.

Anyway, 28MB still is nothing. Mine runs around 35-38MB currently, and hubby's sits around the same, maybe up to 40MB. I used to run well over that. Most computers now have 2GB+ of memory anyway. Besides, it's CPU usage that is the real determining factor for a UI's performance.

No, without the default UI (9.xxMB). I know memory doesn't matter. I didn't say that it is a bad thing, just haven't seen that high numbers for some time.
Back in days where lots of people used DiscordUIs, that was high :-).

Okay... I just left Pitbull4 to go to StUF. Take a gander.

Solo, In Combat:

StUF Config turned on to show all UF's. Will get a raid shot tonight.

Chat is Chatter.
Minimap is Mappy.
Data texts and icons are LDB using the Fortress display.
Buttonbars and Minimenu are Dominos.
SCT is Parrot.
Buff display is Bison.
Tracking (and target debuffs) is Elkano's Buff Bars.
Castbar and GCD bar are AzCastBars.
Autobar on the right.
ZOMGBuffs Buff Button is above Autobar.
Quest tracker is MonkeyQuest.
Omen and Recount are doing their usual duty.

Font used is "Gentium Book Basic". Bar textures are from Hal's Texture Pack - specifically, Hal N. Border texture also from Hal's Pack.

Just cooked this up tonight, so it's still getting tweaked.

Raid frames go next to the chat window, and omen is next to skada damage meters.

Here's my latest, and what to expect in Version 5.

It's hard to tell the exact changes in this screenshot, but a lot has changed actually.

Some small suggestions if i may...

Maybe remove the race and class from the player frame. I would hope everyone knows what character they are playing hehe. You may want to think about removing it from the target frame too and target of target. Would help free up some of the status bar area and make the unit frames a little less bogged down with info. I really like how you resized everything from when you first started out. Looks really great though

Yeah good call, for some reason I don't remember it being like that, but I suppose it has always been a little crowded like that. I have thought about that, just haven't gotten around to doing anything about it, been too busy actually playing the game for a change :P

Very kind of you to say that, I've been trying to make strides with my UI lately, and I really like the UI's you've been putting out lately, too! Thanks again!

P.S. I'm also very please to see you prefer Coca-Cola. Hurray for Coke!

Mine hasn't changed much since these
OOC, no target:

OOC, friendly target:

In raid

I generally like to keep my UI as clean as possible, only showing what i need to.

That close button for recount isnt normally there, all of the buttons/names/numbers show up on mouseover. Also i've gotten rid of that gap between action bar buttons.

Ideally i'd like a way for grid to align better while the raid group fills up, as at the moment it looks uneven unless im in a full raid.

Working on a very minimalistic UI now, it's a very clean and empty UI.

Self shown, no target:

Target and Target's Target:

Would love some feedback on this one.

Here's my UI. I must know absolutely everything that's going on at all times with a single glance. >< In a raid, the party frame disappears and becomes all eight raid frames. That's particularly handy in battlegrounds. Oh, and if you're curious about the little "Hunter's Mark" looking buttons on my second spell bar, those are a couple quick target macros I had set for a couple Horde that had ganked me earlier that day. I got paranoid and was keeping tabs on them. They didn't successfully gank me after that. ~_^

DISPLAYED
FuBar
Top
- OutfitterFu (quick outfit changes with Outfitter)
- CharmsFu (easy raid icons w/o right-clicking)
- DPS (simple fight-by-fight live updating numeric meter)
- FuXPFu (light-weight xp and rep bars)
- Omen (automatically plugs into FuBar)
- RecountFu
- AtlasLootFu
- ArcHUD2 (automatically plugs into FuBar)
- SunnArt (automatically plugs into FuBar; Fane skins)
Bottom
- HonorFuPlus (honor management)
- beql (automatically plugs into FuBar)
- LoginTimerFu (how much of my life I've waisted that session)
- MoneyFu (gold management and records)

CT
- BuffMod (buffs)
- Core (misc useful stuff)

Xperl (frames)
ArcHUD2 (heads up)
pMinimap (minimap)
Dominos (spell bars)
ButtonFacade (button skins)
Fane (chat windows)
PhanxChat (chat logs)
Omen (threat meter)
Recount (DPS guage)

NOT DISPLAYED
AdvancedTradeSkillWindow (profession windows and management)
AtlasLoot (loot research)
BaudBag (bag frames)
beql (aka: Better Quest Log; quest log window)
Cartographer (world map)
CT MailMod (mail window)
Outfitter (gear management)
QuestHelper (quick quest research hax)
