Looks like 3.0 goes live on the 30th

Well from reading the maintenance notes it sounds and looks like 3.0 is going live. I'm not totally sure on this though. The Maintenance announcement says hardware updates but it more sounds like 3.0 is hitting the scenes.

Very possible, but who knows. We'll just have to see. I hope so though. Ret will finally be a REAL DPS class and not some buff class! Go ret pallies!

Are achievements going in with the 3.0 patch, or are they considered "content" for the expansion?

I believe they're on the PTR, so yes, Achievements will be in 3.0

they said they target mid october for the patch... i don't believe they patch 2 weeks early
