Updated and rebuilt the last UI that I posted here a couple of weeks back. Work has finally let up for me to do so and post it. Still making minor mods to MSBT and a couple other things...

Well, I think those random lines along the screen look somewhat out of place and are pretty pointless. I guess they help to make the whole UI feel more aligned. The bars next to the auras seem a bit odd, too. The colouring and whatnot is pretty cool and, again, the textures are all wonderfully clean.

Nothing wrong with a little personal style.

I'd personally favor small bits of art over huge ones. Though admittedly I've been using no extraneous art in quite some time. Might need to revisit it a little. =P

I guess you're right, sometimes adding a bit of personal flare is a good thing, even if not to everyone's taste.

edit - Click the link, then right click and click 'View Image' for fullscreen without the whole imageshack taking over the thing.

Not too fond of how the icons hang off of the screen on your cooldown bar, personally. I subconsciously kept trying to scroll down to see the rest of the image until I realized that the bar was just too close to the bottom of the screen.

I also think that you either need padding between the buffs and the thin gray bar (to match the padding between it and elements at the bottom of the screen), or move them up so that they overlap it a tad, like how the minimap overlaps. With how close they are, and it being a light gray, it visually seems as if the gray bar is on a higher draw level than the buffs, and is overlapping the icons.

It looks shiny and metallic, which definitely isn't a bad thing. But there are some weird alignment issues, like Seerah has already pointed out - also, I understand that maybe having the minimap where it is really is your personal preference, but I do feel sometimes that some people put the minimap there or in another strange position just because they can.

Edit: That's a pretty nice TukUI mod you've got going on there, fajty. The layout is made of a lot of common sense, which is often lacking in minimal UIs these days. Although I must say the bottom part of the screen seems a bit hectic in some places and those little gaps either side of the action bar break the flow. Otherwise, a great TukUI mod that looks like it would be perhaps more efficient than TukUI itself! (I've never liked how TukUI feels when you play it that much.)

I agree fully. Those two things you mentioned were the things I actually didn't like about the UI! Lol, I had just placed them real fast like before taking a screenshot, didn't know what to do with them

Never rush a screenshot! Even what's in the actual screenshot (the lighting, what's going on, etc) can play a significant part in someone's impression of your UI.

Edit: Heh, speaking of rushed screenshots.

Edit again: Wow, ether Imageshack doesn't like JPGs at all, or WoW saves them as pretty low-quality JPGs. I'd bet it's the latter. Well, it's 0:08 and I am in no mood to make a screenshot of higher quality.

Cool idea but the gears are too opaque and stand out way too much. Make them fit in more, I dunno. Also, thanks for the tip, Xandora.

Mind sharing info? I currently use nui+. which is an amazing addon, but I want something more minimal :l nui+ just takes up too much screen space for me now :/

He's using a modified version of TukUI. It's not to everyone's taste as it does take quite some time getting used to it, but it's a very nice space-saving UI for those that want it.
