10-second lag & chat transparancey

Since 2.1, I've been getting a very brief delay about every 10-seconds in game. I'll be simply running, or standing, anything....and my game will briefly "glitch", "lag", whatever you want to call it for a split second. I've been disabling tons of addons (I know, i have way too many) but I can't pinpoint it. Anyone having this issue?

Also, my main chat window keeps getting set to transparent, when i keep setting it back to have a darker, less transparent background.

That is an impressively long list of mods. I'm hardly surprised you are experiencing lag and I could only guess its a result of memory trash cleaning.

I suggest conducting a binary search through your mods. Disable half of them (to make it easy on yourself, try doing it alphabetically) and run the game to see if you continue seeing the problems. If they still persist, remove half of what currently is still active. By this divide & conquer method, you should find the problem mod within about 8 restarts. Although it your problems might simply be occurring due to conflictions between mods

Yup - the binary method was my next option, but can't do it atm because I'm at work

Yeah, i know - too many mods - I'm very picky with my ui, obviously

Snag MCP or ACP or some such addon control addon if you don't have one already. Then you can enable/disable from within the game and only need to do a reload.

Yeah i have one. But, not that it makes a huge difference, my game takes so long to load anyway, i may as well log out/in lol. I couldn't live without 'em though, so it's worth the wait. Especially for lootlink

I actually thought that Fubar_Usage was doing it (turns out it wasn't). I thought that would have been ironic...a mod to tell you which mods use up lots of memory slowing down your game. Heh.
