Issues when in Karazhan

I have 2 problems with the UI when I am in Karazhan.
1. Chess Event - the Pet window I get when I take controll of a piece I get no icons just black boxs where the Pet window would be for Hunters. I play a Shaman.

2. During Netherspite when you take over 1 of the 4 color beams I do not see the countdown on ticks of how long in the portal. I only get the icon that I have the debuff.

Any information on how to fix this issue?

1. Everyone has this issue right now, grit your teeth and fight through it until someone finds a fix.

2. Honestly not a friggin clue. Check DUF options maybe? I do know you're only supposed to see it when you are in the beam, and not when someone else is in the beam.
