ouF_coree blocked by Blizzard UI concerning Focus Target

Hello there
I'm new to this forum and i hope i didn't miss any thread while searching the forums concerning my problem.

I have a problem with setting a Focus Target.
E.g. I want to set the Focus on a Mob, i get a error message where it's said: "oUF_coree has been from an action only available to the Blizzard UI. You can disable the addon and reload the UI."
I know what it means, but still have no idea how to solve my problem.
Disabling the Add-On just for the focus (and target ^^) would be a bit ... silly? ^^
Do i have to delete something in my addon folder? Deactivate something using some specific console commands?or what else can i do? I mean ... this function has to be working, why should it be still implemented if it's not working overall due to the blizzard UI.

I'm using the most recent version of oUF_coree.

The "Set Focus" menu option is "blocked" for virtually all third-party addons: the API function it relies on can only be called from secure code, and popup menus spawned by addons generally are not.

A solution is to type /focus target when you want to focus on the mob you're targeting.

The 'target' in that is redundant, as it defaults to target.
