Healer question...

Hi, i starting to play with Nui since 1.25 arkive is no longer supported and well i come over Nui, Anyways...

My main spec is a resto shamie, Some times in my guild runs i put on ffa(free for all) / raid healing, Other times i told to stand at X and heal who i can (last boss in nax). Or the last one is to keep groups 1, 2 alive and a eye on 3.

Looking at all the screenies i seen of your addon/UIpack. There seems to be no order in how the player bars are set... So if i told to keep a number of groups up, Is there a way i can set Nui to have groups based on there number?

Also since i on about this, Who are the player bars placed if not by group?

Right now the raid unit frames are being ordered by Blizzard from raid1 to raid40 -- they are supposed to be sorted by either raid group, player name or player class, but there's a bug in the sort routine I haven't found yet that's preventing it.

Do you know if i am still able to pull out the bizz group bars and not mess anything up?

The odd thing is i jsut did some bench testing on my PC with JUST this addon/ui pack and i got 10% more FPS that i did with arkive defult UI...

(was arvage for 10 mins of 22.3 fps, yours come out as 24.9)

May not sound like much but when i press rec on xfire, this gives me 10 FPS over arkives 6FPS, That 4FPS means i can see **** on the floor and not get killed by it :P

All i need to do is to get other things working like i like them (keybindings for my n52te)

Yeah --

No reason you can't pull out the Bliz raid frames. Hopefully nUI 6.0 will give you even better FPS, as well.

Now all i need to do is work out what addon i need and what i dont need from my list of 200+ addons...

With this i shold get my self under the 20 addon mark for the frist time in over 3 years of playing...

The thing that is taking the most time is not the addon list, it redoing all my spells and macros, both from moving UI and 3.2, But it dragging spells about and redoing it for BOTH specs... (all my spells are in the same place for BOTH specs but the spec ones. (IE earth shild = ele master and RP = TS)

After saying this your going to say there a faster way right?

nUI should have picked up what you already had on your action bars. But, yeah, there's no easy way to do that one I'm afraid.

It did, but i was NOT using 1x12 bars i was using 4x4s :P. I it was also set up for my n52te (123-456=7890 not 1234567890-=)

But it all done now, and just the regettign used to, Mostly having the info about my mouseover being on the left, since i got used to it on the right. Is there a way i can swap that about?

And i think this topic gone off the rails alltogether...

Topics are forever going off the rails... no worries.

You can use '/nui movers' to enable rearranging key elements (such as the anchor point for tooltips).

If you want to get brave, you can also rearrange the action bars to use 4x3 instead of 1x12, as well... just edit [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Layouts > Default > nUI_Layout_Default_Dashboard.lua ], find the nUI_DefaultConfig.ButtonBars section and change "rows = 1" and "cols = 12" to "rows = 3" and "cols = 4" and you'll have the style you're accustomed to. Then you can use '/nui movers' to rearrange the location of the bars to suit.

I will do that tomorrow (well after some sleep since it already gone past midnight here), I know i will be telling my guild of Nui when i get closer to the time of posting my UI on there boards again

atm the last thing bugging me is trying to refull my fubar :P

I forgot most of the addons and where they was...

But i am able to raid again and keep people alive (even if i need to drag out there party when i get raid set).

But it this way, i will be giving you some cash when i can for such a great base for my UI

P.S. when i just did the load test on my old UI and did the same on this one, the load time diffents is UNREAL (old 5 mins, new 20 secs)...

My healer main is a resto shammy and I use healbot for all my healing needs ( cos its easy for me ). Once nUI handles the special debuffs that healbot handles then it will be worth trying out clique again and use the raid frames. But will see.

Hehe i was keeping people alive vai pitbull and a very long macro for each spell like this one for LHW

When i press this i will always cast a heal on somthing, even if it my self :P

Yeah I have that macro or similar myself. It either uses the target, the targets target or myself. So no matter who I target something gets healed.
