when looting "to far away"!!

After last patches i think i have a bad bug, when i click items on ground my char run there and didnt loot (he should loot directly, right?) and say "cant do that while moving" (but sure, he stop at item) or "is to far away". And i need to click again to can loot...

what #$#% addon can cause this and ruin my nervs?

i had a ticket and ghe gm said like always clear your addons... what derision

I think its highly unlikely that this is caused by an addon.
And I can confirm this behaviour. But its not that important to me that I've investigated deeper

This issue has been in WoW for a long time, it's related to lag and stuff. It should go away after a while.

You can always try to clear out your Cache and Data/Cache folder, just for the sake of it.

I also have the same issue when i lag spike, it also causes me to see other people running in place. I would check on the new blizzard lag settings they have in the interface options. See if adjusting them will help you. There are also several threads about optimal network adapter setting, where you can change some things like the mtu and packet size in order to reduce lag. I found those by goggling how to reduce lag in wow.

Some months ago, killing mobs with Typhoon that knocked back corpses made me unable to loot them -had to re-log so the corpse got placed where the server says the corpse is really located.

Loot bugs are fun! ^^

yes, im using, like all i think, the click to move...

where u say are some lag options in interface? i dont see any, only one in main options in Network.

so why only i have this problem? i have it always not like some of you sometimes and i dont have lag btw or other problems

what u mean to clear out your Cache and Data/Cache folder? that mean ill lose for example my profiles for macaroon, my bars addons?..

No. Addon settings are stored in the WTF folder, not the Cache folder. The Cache and Data/Cache folders are used to cache game data. For example, the game has to query the server for info about items, so it stores that info in the Cache folder so it doesn't have to repeatedly query the server about the same items. Deleting the contents of these folders will have absolutely no effect on your addons. However, the cache data can become corrupted, and this can cause any number of bizarre problems. Clearing your cache should probably be the first thing you try if you're having any kind of problem, but no Lua error.
