Wow sound while alt-tabbed

Since 2.0 (i think) i can still hear wow when alt-tab out of the game. Is that a change in WoW, a mod? Anyone experience this also or know how i can make wow shut up when i minimize?

You should be able to toggle that behaviour in the sound options of WoW.

Hmm .. thought it was my system. I checked off the box for no sound when minimized a while back .. maybe it reset need to check.

But the sound I get is not constant. It usually happens when I switch windows with the taskbar.

maybe the wow process get active while you switch through the tasks ? wow don't check if it's minimized or not .. it just checks wheter it's the currenty active application.

I get the same thing. I just click the desktop once and it stops, as it's not focused any longer. Not the best "fix", but works for me.

Same as Blay - if you click anything on the desktop, it will stop the sound.

At least, that's how it is for me.
