clique, renew and timers

hi,
im testing out to heal with clique.
it is working great so far. one little thing nags me. when i cast renew with clique the target is not selected to cast it. in that way i got no timers and bars (like enemy castbar) to show me the duration of renew on that player.
only when the player is selected.

i now found a workaround by making a makro /target mouseover, /cast renew .
that way the target will stay selected. when i tried with /targetlasttarget at the end of the macro the timer does not start. perhaps the target is changed too quickly,

can someone help me to get it work with targetlasttarget.
