Fishing Buddy Easycast not working?

As of this morning's patch the double-click right mouse button command fails to work. Is there a fix for this?

No, it's not working. In fact, it screwed up my mouse's right click ability in the game. I had to go back to one of my backup WTF folders and replace every single one of my bindings-cache.wtf files.

My mouse's right click works just fine until I try to click on the water using Fishingbuddy. As soon as I do that, I have no right click ability at all.

I can recreate this bug.

I use FishingAce and it is broken as well. It also screwed up right click ability and only logging out and back in fixed the right click issue. I disabled FishingAce for now until a fix is hopefully available..

I'm using FishermansFriend (plain, but works very well) for right now until Fishing Buddy is working again.

I went ahead and tried FishingAce and you're right, it doesn't work. I get the same right click issue with that one as I do with Fishing Buddy.

However, FishermansFriend works for me with no sound issue or right click issue. But before I install an addon after another similiar addon has errors, I always completely remove the trouble addon (deleting it from the Addons folder), and I also remove any .lua files it might have for it's settings... which are located in the WTF SavedVariables folder, and sometimes in your characters folder there is another SavedVariables folder that may or may not have a .lua file for the addon that can be deleted.

When I remove any addon, I make sure to remove any and all files associated with it just in case it could cause issues with something else.

Did you try removing all of the Fishing Buddy folders and all of it's lua files before trying FishermansFriend?

Sutorix (the author) has fixed Fishing Buddy. You can get it from CurseForge.

I tried it out for about 20 minutes.. works great

As usual, Blizzard made some changes in a patch that broke some addons, Sutorix uploaded a fixed version of Fishing Buddy to WoWInterface yesterday (16th)!
